Description

One Book, One Tulsa is a community wide reading initiative focusing on The Soloist: A Lost Dream, an Unlikely Friendship and the Redemptive Power of Music. Join us for the movie adaptation of the book. Don't miss our first film event to be held in Central Library's new A.R. and MaryLouise Tandy Foundation Children's Garden!

Please bring a lawn chair or blanket for your comfort during the film.

This event is free and open to the public. No ticket is required. However, we encourage attendees to register. Signing up for a ticket will help us prepare for the event. If you prefer not to sign up online, you may also register by calling 918-549-7323. Thank you!

FAQs

Will other Central Library services be available at the event?

No, the Central Library Grand Opening will be Oct. 1. Our event on Sept. 29 is all about the film in the garden, so please come back for our Grand Opening!

Is there seating in the Children's Garden?

While we have plenty of space, there isn't much seating in the garden. Bring your own lawn chair or blanket, and you'll be ready for the show!
